one of the greatest things about being a high school student are a couple of things:
1.) you see all of your friends again (even the ones you secretly hate behind their backs)and probably have them in the same classes with you
2.) you're another year older and wiser and almost about to head off into the world and be your own person
3.) always the first couple of weeks in school is pretty much forms, lists, contracts, fees you have to pay for some classes and NO HOMEWORK!!!!!
4.) YOU DO NOTHING DURING THOSE COUPLE OF WEEKS OF SCHOOL!!!
5.) things change and people change
6.) anytime we get weekends, vacations, breaks, national holidays, planning days, last days of school, field trips, club & sport meetings, and my personal favorite early release days, then it's basically A PARTY HERE
7.) after 4 years of high school you feel happy that you're going to college and being your own person, strong and independent, and still fighting for your future and sad because you never see your freinds ever again and won't know what happened with them until your 10 year high school reunion and I'M NOT WAITING THAT LONG!!!

summer's great from a year of hard work and year-long problems that you're faced with in life, but autumn's a chance for you to start over (not officially 'cuz that's new year's eve)
and begin fresh for something that you've been waiting for again and sooner or later, we'll pass those problems on to our children when they'll go on to high school and just enjoy life as we can as much as we can before we have to give it up for our entire future and soon-to-be life.
it's a difficult job, but hey.......someone's gotta do it, right?
